Everett's Birthday

Everett was a lucky boy this year because he got to celebrate his birthday twice. Once on the 4th of July with Greg's family and then again on his real birthday with Jeanine's family. He was a little confused because of the length of time between the two, but in the end he was excited about all the great gifts he got.

4th of July fun

We also honored Greg's Dad for his birthday which is 2 days before Everett's

Can you tell his favorite color is GREEN. I even wore the color to honor him!

One Very Happy Birthday Boy!

Visit from the Bradberry's

Greg's old time friend Rick came to visit us with his wife and two beautiful little girls last week. Sidney made a new friend and really enjoyed having a little baby around. Hmmm, maybe we won't be too far off from having baby #4 ourselves. :) Sidney patting Allison's back
Our family having a cornfest!
I couldn't resist sharing these photos.
Even Sidney was going to town on her corn on the cob!

No more excuses. . .

All my kids are now getting more photogenic, so I don't have to make anymore excuses for not doing posts. Here are a few from Disneyland today. I don't think we'll be back until after the summer! Even the monorail line was 45 minutes. . .what's up with that?! Sidney cried when we got off, so Daddy took her a second time!
Sid wanted to sit next to Mom on Treasure Island
Everett doing his usual fun faces as he climbed up the treehouse stairs on treasure island

Our favorite red, Lauren! Isn't she a doll?!
Even Dawson knows how to smile great for Mom!

Kelly's graduation

My youngest sister just graduated from Jr. High. She is such a sweetheart!!! I spent almost 3 weeks with her last month while my mom went to Israel and she showed me just how amazing she is. She was such an example of selflessness and love. I feel so blessed to have such an amazing sister. Keep up the good work Kelly! Love Ya!

Handsome boys

Look at the handsome men in my family. . . I love them so much!!!!! We got this father's day cake at a ward auction. Pretty cool, huh?

Why I bought a Piano

Many years ago after college I found myself with a little bit of pocket change after having worked for a couple of years - I still wasn't married at that time. I was debating on whether to buy a jet-ski or a piano (a digital piano). Well, I chose the latter and have never regretted it. As many of you know I am not a performing pianist, I just have tried to revive a talent that died long ago, but have yet to get good enough to perform in any realm. Last month my baby girl decided to play the piano all by herself - she basically pushed me off the bench. I took some photos because they were so precious to me. I will make sure my children acquire some musical talent, because it seems to be dying talent in younger generations. Now, I think I know why I was inspired to buy a piano.
